Commitment to Build Power Plant
To anticipate problems and to challenge the energy business in the future especially electricity, PT. Dalle Energy has founded 3 subsidiary companies to support its activities.
1. PT Dalle Engineering Services (DES). Engineering Coverage: Basic Design, Site Survey, Basic Engineering Design, Process Design & Flow Diagram, Materials & Heat Balance, Plot Plan, One Line Diagram, Piping & Instrumentation Diagram, Control System, Detail Design: Detail Engineering Drawings, Material, Equipment & Machinery Specification, Construction Specification & Procedures, Bills of Material, Detail Engineering Calculation & Analysis, Procurement, Operation Manuals and As Built Drawings;
2. PT Dalle Engineering Construction (DEC). Construction coverage: Construction Management, Construction Materials & Tools, Construction Execution, Construction Quality Assurance & Quality Control, Commissioning & Start up and Training for Operators;
3. PT Dalle Operation Services (DOS). Providing operation and maintenance service and maintenance carried out at regular intervals for long terms reliability and efficiency of the equipment/machinery and allows users to optimize their cost and maximize equipment availability.
PT Dalle Energy has gained a long experience as developer, EPC contractor and O&M on Gas, Coal and Geothermal Power Plants or any other renewable and new energy power plants.
At present Dalle manages 4 Power Plants with total capacity 1610 MW. A leap to overcome the crisis of electricity, PT Dalle Energy has supported and involved in the development program of Coal Power Plant Acceleration 10.000MW. The consortium PT Dalle Energy and Dongfang Electric Corporation to be EPC Contractor on Teluk Naga Power Plant project. 2x300 MW, Banten and Pacitan 3 x 300 MW, East Java which will in operational in 2010.
As the program running, it is expected that the power plants will be able to contribute to the economic growth.
The use of electricity as final energy in Indonesia is still around 11% and it is far beyond the advance countries, 20-35%. On the other hand, the consumption of electricity per person is only 6% of Japan or 20% of Malaysia).
Having learned the fact, PT Dalle Energy declares its commitment to be continually involved in the development of power plants of all kinds of Primary Energy available because electricity has a very important contribution to support energy growth as well as attracting investment.
PT. Dalle Energy has gained a long experience as Developer, EPC Contractor and O & M on Gas, Coal and Geothermal Power Plants or any other renewable and new energy power plants. For Geothermal Power Plant, Dalle through its subsidiary involved in the construction of Dieng 55 MW, 1997 and Darajat 70 MW, 1998.
Currently, responding to the rocketing oil prices, PT Dalle Energy is optimizing the existing power plants by conversing Diesel to MFO (MFOnisasi) and Combine Cycle. To provide primary energy in Indonesia, Dalle is also exploring the possibility to supply Gas and Coal by Gasification, CBM and UCG.
The big gap between resources and potential reserved of primary energy and the gap between resources and potential reserved of primary energy and production are indeed as promising opportunities to be seriously managed soon.
In spite of focusing on Gas and Coal, Dalle believes that Infrastructure and Transportation of Energy are very crucial to provide primary energy supply. However, to complete the line of energy production, Dalle also concerns to the development of LNG Plant, Pipeline and Terminal.
